Teaching is an integral element of my practice. I hold summer watercolour and printing courses at Bornholms Højskole and deliver other short art-based courses at other institutions throughout the year – some privately and some open to the public.
Generally, I tend to concentrate on observation-based drawing, watercolour painting and relief printing techniques, and I make particular efforts to get drawing and painting outdoors. For specific clients, I have focused on teamwork, creativity, and play as themes, and have also enjoyed teaching Land Art to both small and large groups. I teach in both English and Danish.
My students have ranged from pre-schoolers to retired people – from refugees to adults with mental illness – from art-loving school kids to professional artists. Please see my CV or contact me for more information.
Now that my studio is up and running, I look forward to offering more teaching courses here on the island. If you are interested in attending any courses in the future, please follow me on Instagram or Facebook, where they will be announced. They will also be added to my ‘UPCOMING EVENTS’ side-menu on this website.
If you are interested in collaborating on creating a specific course – either for an institution or a group of friends – don’t hesitate to get in touch with me, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
The gallery below shows some of the projects I have been involved in over the years.
