A series of twelve paintings of birds for the book ‘Fugle på Bornholm’ (Jens Christensen, DOF Bornholm). The brief was completely open, and I chose to depict ‘iconic’ scenes of birds in the Bornholm landscape.

Every year the Feria Internacional de Turismo Ornitologica, Bird and Nature Festival in Extremadura, Spain, commissions an artist to create an image, to be used throughout the festival on digital and print platforms. I was honoured to have been commissioned in 2023. I chose to depict three preening cranes in an agricultural landscape.

I was commissioned by Naturstyrelsen Bornholm to create a series of illustrations outlining the plans to create a new National Park in the centre of Bornholm. The original artwork was purchased by Naturstyreslen Bornholm for their offices.

I was commissioned by Naturstyrelsen Bornholm to create some very detailed depictions of the many bat species extant on Bornholm, for a permanent display in the ‘Bat House’ in Rø, Bornholm. Lacking field knowledge and the ability to paint from life, I leaned heavily on the knowledge of bat experts and photographs.

I was commissioned by NaturBornholm to create a series of botanical illustrations of Bornholm’s better-known wildflowers, for an exhibition in the town square of Aakirkeby, where traditional ornamental flowerbeds have been replaced by beds celebrating Bornholm’s wildflower diversity.

Bornholm’s Science and Discovery Centre NaturBornholm commissioned me to create several illustrations to be used in their new permanent exhibition on Danish dinosaurs. In addition, I created some illustrations for a small book accompanying the exhibition.
